We encourage you to initially alert the administration of the facility of your concerns in an effort to provide the facility opportunity to internally address and correct concerns immediately. Report Card - How To Read & Interpret Reports SHIIP The Senior Health Insurance Information Program is a free & unbiased counseling program provided by the Indiana Department of Insurance for Medicare beneficiaries in Indiana. SHIIP helps answer your questions about Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare+ Choice, Medicaid, long term care insurance, prescription coverage and low-income assistance. SHIIP's central office is located in downtown Indianapolis at the Indiana Department of Insurance. The central office only provides counseling services by phone. However, we offer in-person counseling at our local sites which are located throughout the state. Sites are located throughout the state. Visit one of your local SHIIP sites in order to meet with a counselor in person, or to have questions answered by phone.
